Last week i wrote a post called “ok, its time” where i offered myself up as a sponge to ignorant remarks made by White people to people of color on their blogs. Well, as it turns out there are a good number of other folks who are willing to do the same or something better. So in the hopes that something positive can be created (and not just another late night rant by your’s truly), Ally Work, a blog dedicated to helping White people challenge Whiteness and White Supremacy, is up and running. Its still in the beginning stages, so i’m sure there will be some kinks to work out, but check it out and add your two cents.

The first edition of the Carnival of Empty Cages will be hosted here on April 1. I am looking for people to write positive and critical pieces about animal rights and liberation; animal testing; fur farming; factory farming; speciesism; habitat destruction; extinction; and the like.
