By no means have i read through all of the Blog Against Sexism Day posts. But so far these are some of my favorite posts from yesterday. Hope you enjoy!
- Janna & Sanjay: International Girls’ Day - powerful simplicity
- Blac(k)ademic: complicent sexism - reminding us that White morality and family values can never be tools of liberation
- Creek Running North: rape of the earth - one of the reasons why i left Earth First!
- Rachel’s Tavern: blog against sexism - a look at the intersections of racism and sexism in advertising (ends on a happy note)
- No Blood for Hubris: Unpacking the Backpack of Sexist Privilege - a fun game for the whole family
- Granny Gets a Vibrator: Blog Against Sexism - reminds us that these conversations sound oddly familiar (and i love the post-IWD follow-up. I always appreciate a sense of humor.)
- blood on my teeth: Today is International Women’s Day. Tomorrow we’ll be commandeering your uterus - i couldn’t forget about the guys, now could i?
- chimaeras ABOUND: We are damaged by dualism - because one of my favorite topics of discussion is the ridiculousness of dichotomy (and because it is so honest and self-reflective. and because its dorky.)
- Sabreland: So its Blog Against Sexism Day… - i enjoy a good rant. (And i didn’t even know that South Dakota was sucking monkey balls. Maybe now PETA will get involved)

congratulations. You did an incredible job. I dare say there were quite a few more entries for this than Blog For Choice Day.
Impressive!
I think blogging against sexism is a great idea. I hope the world is moving toward less sexism, not more, but I doubt it.
I just wanted to congratulate you on a HUGE success. I read above that you got some hate mail, so I thought you need some more love mail (or love comments, I guess). It was, to me, the most satisfying Blog Holiday yet.
thanks, EL. It wasn’t so much hate mail as dumb male, i mean, mail. I brushed it off.
