updates again

as you can see, i’ve been messing with the design again.  i’ve added a header that generates a random image as well as a random quote (there are 4 images and i believe 15 quotes at this time).  For those of you still using Internet Explorer, the header is going to look like shit for a day or two.  I’m too tired to fix it right now and i have a few other things that i need to be working on.  Sorry.  Consider this another plea to get you to use Firefox.

I’ve also updated my links and blogroll.  I’ll write soon to let you know whom i’ve added and whom i upgraded.   And i promise that there will be a few new posts soon.  I got sidetracked working on the layout, but i have been writing a couple of things for the Erase Racism Carnival (submissions due today) and the Carnival of Empty Cages.  Ok.  Bedtime.

Very nice design! Just came over from the Diva and your page looks very sympathic. BTW: The header looks good in Safari (Mac OS X) too.

thanks! betabug, i’m really glad to hear that its working in Safari. It took me forever to get my last design to look right in Safari. In the end it was something very simple, but i kept passing over it.

mamita - i just sent you an email.

This design is dope. I especially love the random quotes and beautiful pictures.

Can I do something like this (not exactly like this but of course–but make nice changes with a software–without having to kill myself with learning and messing with HTML) with dreamweaver do you know?

fab - thanks! glad you like the new design. you can do something like this, but not without working with some code… at least a little bit. and with blogger you are a lot more limited with what you can do, meaning you’ll have to depend more on coding than you would with a plugin. and because blogs use PHP, dreamweaver doesn’t help a whole lot as a WYSIWYG editor. but if you ever want to leave blogger, just let me know.
