I have been a horrible carnival host. I am almost 3 weeks late publishing the Carnival of Empty Cages (which will be up sometime tonight), and the Erase Racism Carnival is supposed to be published today, but i haven’t put up a call for submissions in three weeks. And to all the folks whose emails and comments i have not yet responded to, i apologize. It has been one hell of a month and the only time i’ve spent on the internet has been strictly for work (thus 250 unread emails and almost 4000 posts in my feedreader!). But Hell Month is officially over as of this afternoon and i am asking for your help in putting together a last-minute carnival. I have received some submissions (and have collected a few others myself), but i am extending the deadline a few days in hopes of getting some more submissions. So please help by pasting the following call far and wide:
The Erase Racism Carnival is being postponed a few days in order to allow time for more submissions. So please submit your post or any other post that you feel helps create a world free of racism by October 23rd. Submissions will be accepted through the official submission page or by emailing the permalink to veganwonder(at)gmail(dot)com. Let’s make this a great 6th edition of the Erase Racism Carnival.
I know that by postponing the carnival a few days, that means that the next carnival host, Autobiography of a Face, will have fewer days to put the next edition together. So i’m promising to help look for submissions to the next carnival. Ok, now i have some work to do. Thanks in advance to all who help and/or submit a post!
