i’m finally putting some time into optimizing my site, and as a part of that, i’m moving my RSS feed over to Feedburner. So for those of you who use a feed reader to check my site (and i know there are several of you), please update your reader so that it points to my new RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/vegankid. Thanks!

The title made me laugh when I gazed upon it in Bloglines
oh good! that was the point - to get people to take a second look at the post.
argh..what in the hell does this MEAN???? What am i supposed to do??? instructions, please!!!
:p
my apologies, bfp. the nice thing about feedburner is that they make it pretty easy to subscribe to the feed. here’s how: click on the link above. then select the feed reader from the list on the right (for example, i use Bloglines, so i click on the sub|bloglines icon). if you don’t see your feed reader, push the down arrow on the menu that says “choose your reader”. from there it will take you to your reader’s login page. just log in and the new feed will be added. you can go ahead and delete the old feed.
hope this helps. if you have other questions, just ask.
I think I might try to use the feedburner plugin to forward all my feeds (and readers) to feedburner…
ooh, i like this idea so much that i’m implementing it right now. i shoulda guessed someone had already written a plugin for this:) good thing, cuz i was too lazy to mess with the .htaccess file right now. thanks for the heads up, eric!
I am updated! Woot!
My pleasure. The only issue I’ve seen so far with consolidating my feeds through feedburner is that my site favicon does not appear next to my blog name in Bloglines. I guess it’s a small price to pay for easier RSS for the 6 people who read my site
you can upload your favicon into feedburner. see if that works. i haven’t tried it myself yet, so i may just be giving you false hope. but its worth a try.
hmmm. I browsed all over feedburner.com and didn’t see a place for uploading favicons…do you have a URL?
log in to your feed account. then go to Optimize > Feed Image Burner. its not specifically for favicons, which is why i don’t know if it will work for that purpose.
