a story in six words

i was tagged by jay to write a story in six words. here it goes:

went outside. found love. lost keys.

there. its a love story. who to tag? hmm, i tag trying to follow (this is my payment for the idea i’m stealing:), jrnywmn, eric stoller, nine pearls, sly civilian, and deviousdiva

middle zone musings is hosting a contest for the best six word story. and has some good stories up for inspiration

UPDATE: i’m removing the link to middle zone musings because apparently they deem stories about trans bodies to be unacceptable. which makes me wonder if my story is acceptable seeing as to how i am trans and the love i speak of is clearly within a Queer context. the claim that the story is unacceptable because it isn’t g-rated is seriously weak. baseless weak. spit coffee on my computer screen weak. in no way is talking about our bodies or our gender pornographic. how many family sitcom episodes have we seen where “cisgendered” kids made comments about their “private parts”, often comparing them to those of “the opposite sex.” bigotry, though thinly veiled, can be quite blinding. for more, check out jay’s response.

In solidarity, I will post my six word story here instead of over there.
