Not really, but i figured since i haven’t written anything in the blogosphere in almost a month, that i should give a little update. A lot has been going on here in btown. Spring is here, which means i start to get super busy - with work and play. I’ve gotten so much work lately that friend and fellow btown blogger, Geoff, is going to start working with me on web development. And i may even be bringing on a third persyn to the collective. Busy times.
Spring also means that i awake from my hibernation. This has brought many wonderful things. The best of which is a budding relationship with an absolutely amazing (and adorable) persyn. I’ve also started volunteering at Pages to Prisoners again. I finally finished the storyboard and sketches on my first comic book (which is a fundraiser for the sanctuary and written by one of my favorite bands). I’m trying to get it completed by mid-May. I’ve gone to some amazing shows recently, including Lightning Bolt and Damage (a local band, which Geoff plays in, actually). After a long hiatus, i’ve picked up the guitar again and will soon be looking to form a band. The hard part is finding a drummer.
I finally finished the design for my tattoo sleeve. I have a couple expenses to take care of first, but i’ll start putting ink to flesh in a couple weeks. I’ll post pictures when its done. And last but not least, i started my new garden (moved in too late last fall to start it then). I dug the beds, built a rabbit fence, and planted all kinds of stuff (i already have 3 different types of beans, garlic, tomato, and celery popping up).
I feel like that’s a pretty good summary of what i’ve been up to. I do plan on making a comeback to blogging, but i’ll probably just be writting once a week on each blog and i’m going to categorize what i write on each blog. This one will probably become more persynal. You’ll find more stuff about btown (politics and not… for example, the new free clinic opened yesterday. yeah!) I’m planning on shooting some video footage and i’ll include anything worthwhile on this site.
Taking Place is where i’ll post national and international news and analysis. I have included a weekly post on AllyWork as part of my work schedule now. Solidarity Design Network will also get a weekly post from me. That’s it for now.
